Call for papers

The theme for our conference is:

Identity and mission of lay people in a synodal Church

Reflecting on lay apostolate and lay ministry in the light of Vatican II

60th anniversary of Lumen Gentium

We welcome two kind kinds of contributions

1. Movement Papers: We invite representatives and activists of the International Specialised Catholic Action movements (MIACS) and other lay apostolic movements to share and reflect on their movement’s experience of lay apostolate in their milieux, movements, parishes, dioceses, countries…

2. Academic Papers: We invite researchers and academics – theologians, philosophers, historians, sociologists and other – to submit papers on various aspects of the conference theme.

It is our aim to publish a selection of these papers in open access format.
