Mass with Cardinal Czerny at St Michael Archangel, Pietralata

Cardinal Michael Czerny, SJ, Prefect, Dicastery for Integral Human Development

Pope Paul VI made Joseph Cardijn, founder of the Young Christian Workers (YCW/JOC) movement in February 1965.

For his titular parish, Cardijn chose the poorest, most working class parish in Rome, which at that time was St Michael Archangel in the suburb of Pietralata.

Currently, Cardinal Michael Czerny SJ, prefect of the Dicastery for Integral Human Development, is the titular cardinal for the parish.

He will celebrate mass with us at St Michael Archangel on Sunday 13 October at 6.30pm.

Fr Jose Maria Tortosa from the Prado Fathers will also celebrate with us.

Thanks to parish priest, Don Gian Marco, for welcoming us to the parish!
